“I live in company with a body, a silent companion, exacting and eternal.” Eugene Delacroix
This suite of etching brings the organs of the body to the forefront and focuses on our corporeal nature. Painstakingly created through the process of etching with delicate line work composing each passage of value, these plates where then hand cut into silhouettes using a jeweler’s saw. On one level they are about the mysterious qualities of life and on the other the all to obvious notion that we are flesh and blood.
