This recent and on-going project, replaces the typical flat colors of the repeated wallpaper motif with that of images of human skin. Hung away from the wall, these little jewels glow when placed under gallery lights. The initial concept has been inspired by memories of church hymns and lectures from my childhood where human life was compared to the flowers and flesh was seen as something temporal.
